Version 2026-07-10. ŽIŽIĆ, obrt za prijevoz i usluge (“Croatia Holiday Travel”) is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

1. Data we collect

Identity and contact: name, email, phone, country
Trip details: dates, pickup/drop-off, passenger count, route notes
Optional: Premium Concierge, accommodation help preferences
Technical: IP address, browser type (via analytics, when enabled)
Communications: emails, WhatsApp messages you send us

2. How we use your data

Prepare and send transport quotes
Perform transport contracts and customer support
Meet legal and accounting obligations (invoices, tax records)
Improve our website (aggregated analytics)
Marketing emails only with your consent (Mailchimp, when subscribed)

3. Legal bases (GDPR Art. 6)

Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): preparing quotes, performing transport bookings, customer support
Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): responding to inquiries, fraud prevention, improving site security
Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): accounting, tax, and transport records
Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): non-essential cookies, marketing emails

4. Processors and sharing

We use subprocessors under data processing agreements or equivalent safeguards where required:

Supabase (EU): inquiry and review form storage
myPOS: online card payment processing (hosted checkout)
Mailchimp: email marketing (opt-in only)
Namecheap: email hosting
Google Analytics 4: aggregated website analytics (only after cookie consent and only when enabled)
Microsoft Clarity: session analytics (only after cookie consent and only when enabled)

Online card payments are processed on the secure myPOS checkout page. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

We do not sell personal data.

5. Retention

Inquiry data: up to 24 months if no contract is formed. Contract and invoice data: as required by Croatian accounting law (typically 11 years). Marketing lists: until you unsubscribe.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Email info@croatiaholidaytravel.com with the subject line “Data request”. We respond within one month (extendable by two months for complex requests, with notice). You may lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).

7. International transfers

Where processors are outside the EEA, we use Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards. Details available on request.
