Overview
One private day, two very different Adriatic stops. From your Split door you head south along the coast to Ston, a medieval town behind some of the longest preserved walls in Europe, where oysters are pulled from the bay and served straight off the boat. Then on to Dubrovnik, where the Stradun, the city walls, and the old port do the rest. The car waits while you walk, and the whole day is yours to pace.
The route, stop by stop
Ston and the Pelješac gate
First stop at Ston for the town walls and the oyster beds of Mali Ston, then coffee by the water before continuing south.
Dubrovnik old town
Walk the Stradun and the old town, or climb the city walls for the full Adriatic view. The driver parks and waits.
Return to Split
Relaxed drive back along the coast, with the timing adjusted to your pace.
