When DIY rental wins

A rental car can be the right call for a short mainland loop when you are comfortable driving narrow coastal roads, finding parking in old towns, and managing ferry queues with luggage. We will say so if your dates and route suit self-drive better than a chauffeur day rate.

When a chauffeur fits better

Multi-day coastal routes, airport arrivals after a long flight, wine days with tastings, island connections, and cross-border runs to Kotor or Mostar are where a priced driver and local timing advice usually save stress. You still book your own rooms and tables.
